Indecision can be deadly. Don’t think so? Imagine you were an Army General on a battlefield, and you didn’t know what to do as the enemy approached you. Your doubt could cost a lot of men to lose their lives. You might lose your own too.

In business, indecision is just as deadly. Only in this case, it could lead to poverty instead of creating wealth.

But do you know how profitable it is to be one that helps other people to overcome doubt and indecision? Look at all the high-pay professions there are where people help others overcome their doubts: counselors, coaches, consultants, therapists, and all sorts of advisors. The world’s best salesmen consider themselves as consultants, which is something you should give some thought to.

Everyone around you has “doubts.” And these doubts manifest themselves as “fear”. For example, people doubt that they have the ability to accomplish a certain task, so they fear being put in a situation where they are called upon to do that task. They look to someone – anyone – that can help them conquer those doubts. They’ll pay almost any price. And that is where YOU come in. If you help them, you’re not only going to enrich yourself, but you’re completing the task of being fruitful that God commanded you to do.

In the bible, we read about a man named Daniel, who had this quality. One of his skills was “dissolving of doubts” (Daniel 5:12 KJV). How cool is that?

When it came time to solve a problem, who do you think is going to be called? In Daniel’s case, his ability to help the king solve his problems was the reason he rose to the highest position in the land. The only one higher in authority was the King himself. That is how powerful this characteristic is in a person.

And how about you? Is that something that you could use on your business card? Dissolving doubts and curing indecision is one of the main ways to “Make Money, God’s Way.”

Tim, it is better to make the wrong decision instead of not making one at all. Too many people get stopped by fear.

Those kinds of people stand by their decisions too and don’t blame others if it doesn’t work out as they had hoped. They move on and don’t get hung up on it so they have a lot more success than the average person that gets scared off.

    Tim,

I was trying to sleep last night and remembered that this was Eisenhower and Patton. Is that correct? “Patton” was a great movie and I would love to have more heros like that now.

I wish i could be more decisive in my own decision making.

I feel like a procrastinate so that i can make a split decision and ten just watch where the chips may fall.

I don’t like being so impulsive. It has lead to so many bad situations for me.

Tim, I believe indecision leads to missing good opportunites…It is always frustrating to see people you care about that won’t make a decision that makes their life better..

At least when you make a decision you are in motion. Once in motion, you can make course corrections and get to the goal. Even if you start 180 degrees wrong.

If you stay in the same spot (no decision) you never correct course and never reach the goal.

Indecision affects a lot of people and it can bother the decision-making types of people. Someone I respect once gave me this advise when I was being indecisive. He said “Either lead, follow, or get the heck outta the way.” I remember that whenever I get indecisive and it’s really helped me move forward on things which are important to me.

Indecision sure is a thorn in everyone’s side and definitely stops you from creating wealth and anything else you want in life.

It’s almost a cliche now to read about someone who had a great idea but let indecision stop them & then sure enough a few weeks or months later they see their idea being sold in a store by someone who is not doing it as well as their original idea.

But they get hung up on how poor a job the guy is doing instead of recognizing that indecision kept them on the sidelines whereas the other guy got into the game & went for it!

Doubts can be idea killers. Everyday we are bombarded with doubts – if we didn’t work through some of them, we wouldn’t get out of bed in the morning. But one of the best feelings is when you push through the doubt and accomplish something!
