There is one single regret that dying people have. I discovered this when I read an article titled: “Top five regrets of the dying.” While they listed five regrets, they can be boiled down to one single conclusion.
What are the top five regrets of the dying?
According to the article, the top five regrets of those surveyed (I don’t believe these are the top 5 of everyone, just the top five of a very small sample of people that the researcher surveyed) are:
- I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
- I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
- I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
- I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
- I wish that I had let myself be happier.
Do you see a common thread in all of these regrets?
They are all based on making “decisions.”
People regret that they either don’t know how to make decisions, or that they made bad decisions. I think it is more of the latter one.
In other words, people regret not having “Wisdom.” Because that is what wisdom is, after all; it is the ability to make “good” decisions.
Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem: “Get Wisdom.” That way, you don’t have to regret any of your decisions.
How To Get Wisdom?
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5 (NIV)
The Bible is a handbook of wisdom, and how to live your life without regrets. You’ve come to the right web site if you want to learn how to get wisdom. Here is a good place to start: Ancient Wisdom for Creating Wealth.
The cool thing, is that wisdom is also the key that creates wealth. So you CAN live a life free from regrets, and with prosperity.
Get Wisdom. It is how to live a regret-free life, and to “make money, God’s way.”
